jgnat,
Thanks for making me chuckle!
All the practical matters aside, I'm guessing that a lot of martyrdom-hungry JW's would really miss having someone to feed their persecution complexes.

many of the dubs i know don't really want the end to come.
sure, they like the idea of youth in perpetuity, good health, no death, peace.... who doesn't?
they want those things to end.. but in their heart of hearts, do you really think they actually long for the destruction of other human beings that are so graphically depicted in the pubs?.

and thinking how normal they all look and act - having all kinds of worldly fun, very unself-consciously.
my daughter is so happy with getting a copy of the video yearbook from her digital video prodcutions class at a discount .
it's cool to actually see her participating in all the wacky events she spent hours throughout the school year preparing for the night or week before: the school spirit week, tacky day, the prom; the many friends and social events.
Good for you Mdm!
I'm also glad that my own daughter is free to make a lot of her own choices, without having to suffer those ridiculous and narrow restrictions that were imposed on a lot of us as kids.

okay so here is the scenario:.
i finally acquaint myself with the "floating ship" that is my four poster bed about 1.30 am, finish watching a favourite lullaby horror movie - wolf creek and close my eyes.. minutes later a door slams right next to my ear and then another and what sounds like a gaggle of adolescent girls (reminiscent of the current manless debacle that is big brother uk this year) screams their way into the flat next door at high volume.
they are talking so loud i can hear every inane word they say.
Crumples,
I'd go with Sad Emo's advice, and save the note until next time. Keep a log though.

greetings friends,.
getting older has its benefits.
i just don't take things so hard any more.
I've been alone for the past year now.
I don't like it, and hope I never get used to it, but at the present it's necessary whilst I do some personal rebuilding work.
tim
when i die may i please have chocolate cake?.
chapter 1. my birth.
i have always thought of my life like that.
For some strange reason, I thought this needed to come back to the top tonight. Don't know why. Maybe meet new peeps!
Sparklet,
There are lots of us on this forum who love you big-style. Don't you forget that, OK?

so to top off my wonderful set of horrible happenings as of late...my washer was broke.
so after a couple of weeks i put off going down the street and borrowing an unused one from a friends garage.
i was told it was buried and hard to get out, so i took a bit of time tackling the job.
Sparklet,
Like the others I really hate to laugh at your woes, but dammit woman, you are just so incredibly funny!
When the day comes that your life eventually settles down to some sort of normality, how long do you think it will be before you get bored? A week? A month?
I have this hunch that you secretly thrive on trouble and drama..........

do you recall the song that you shared with that special someone?
are single and have a song that has a special meaning to you.
Sort of a personal mantra for the past 30 years or so;
'Any major dude with half a heart surely will tell you my friend,
Any minor world that breaks apart falls together again,
When the demon is at your door,
In the morning it won't be there.
No more.'
